Vocational teachers trained by Haaga-Helia graduate in Pretoria

Again this year, vocational teachers trained by Haaga-Helia graduated in Pretoria, South Africa. Haaga-Helia has been training vocational teachers in Pretoria, South Africa, since 2015.

The training is a 60-credit English-language teacher training programme, and this autumn's teacher training group is the eighth in a row to graduate.

– Students gave excellent feedback on the programme. Participants felt that they learned in particular about student-centred pedagogy and pedagogical methods such as digital pedagogy, says Jari Laukia, director of the School of Vocational Teacher Education.

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in Pretoria is a long-standing partner of Haaga-Helia. This year, the group also included participants from the University of Mpumalanga. The cooperation with TUT University will continue next year.
