Haaga-Helia ICT services are back online

Status Tuesday 9.1. 

VDI is working, Peppi is working, Moodle is working, printing is working. Course rollment is working. Changin passwords will be online this morning.

Eduroam is not working but we are working to solve the problem.

Status Monday 8.1. morning

We have one virtualization environment on no response stetus. This has caused problems for restoring services. Those servers or services that are or use this not responding virtualization environment are not working properly. We are doing everything we can to fix this problem. 

Peppi is working partly. If services are not using the nonresponding virtualization environment all should be ok. Open AMK enrollment is not working as it is using services on the nonresponding virtualization environment. Printing is not working. 

Moodle is working. VDI for students is working also campus VDI is working. Changing of passwords is not working. 

We are sorry about this situation and keep updating this article. 

Services of Haaga-Helia, such as Peppi and Moodle, and web services hosted by Haaga-Helia will be offline during week 1. The outage will start on Wednesday 3.1.2024 from 14.00. Services will be restarted on Friday 5.1.2024 from 8.00 onwards. Most of our services are up and running.

The planned maintenance schedule for Wednesday 3.1. is the following:  

• The teaching databases and Moodle are now shut down. 
• It is not possible to print anymore.
• Peppi student management system has been shut down.
• Internal systems and telecommunications have been shut down.

On Friday 5 January, the IT services will be restored in a phased manner:

• HAKA login is working. VDI is offline until sunday, waiting for the virtualization to be reconfigured. Internet and wlan are workin on campuses. Eduroam has problems for signing in.
• Peppi servers are running. 
• Moodle has been started.
